Welcome to The Moody Mare, nestled on the edge of Mereworth woods where we offer a variety of settings for everyone to enjoy.

Be it the classic country pub bar with real ale direct from the cask, the cosy restaurant, the lodge or the stunning heated Tipi's set in our private paddock.

Privately owned for twenty plus years and having evolved from classic English restaurant, Rosette tasting menus, full A la carte we have now settled on classic gastropub fayre.

Using our own Dry agers we age all of our red meats and pork, working with seasonal game and providing seafood dishes from an experienced team of chefs.

We hope to welcome you soon to the last remaining freehouse of five that used to be in and around the village.
