Welcome to The George – the independent pub in Hitchin where warm welcomes and great entertainment awaits!

Come grab a sofa by the fire and enjoy regular entertainment from the best live musicians and DJs around, regular theme nights, offers and promotions, and most importantly a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Got a birthday party or business launch coming up? Or maybe you want to organize your own business networking event or live music event? Ask us about our upstairs chill-out lounge called Bogarts.

One of Hitchin’s hidden gems, Bogarts is a bar and lounge area with a bit of a swanky members club feel, tucked away in our 16th Century hayloft!
