The Railway Inn, SUNDERLAND, Tyne and Wear

The Railway Inn is a Grade II listed pub located at Robson Place, Ryhope, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Originally built in the late 18th century as a house, it was later converted into an inn. The pub gets its name from its proximity to the former Ryhope railway station, which is no longer operational.

The Railway Inn is a popular spot for locals and is known for its traditional pub atmosphere. The pub's exterior is made of painted incised stucco with painted ashlar dressings, and it has a Welsh slate roof with dark grey ridge tiles and a brick chimney. The interior is traditional and cosy, with a bar area and a separate seating area.
