Hotels, Bars, Pubs and Taverns in South Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Publocation UK is a work in progress. So far we've listed pubs in London and across much of England, and we're adding the rest of the United Kingdom county by county. So if you don't see a pub we should get to it soon. Cheers, Team Publocation.

Sheffield's real ale revival has a distinctly local flavour. Dave Wickett of the Fat Cat opened Kelham Island Brewery in 1990, the first new brewery in the city for a century, and its Pale Rider was named Champion Beer of Britain in 2004. The Kelham Island Tavern, derelict until 2002, became the first pub to win CAMRA's National Pub of the Year two years running, in 2008 and 2009. The Old Queen's Head is far older: a timber-framed hall of around 1475 that only became a pub in Victorian times.
