Hotels, Bars, Taverns and Pubs in Merseyside, United Kingdom

Publocation UK is a work in progress. So far we've listed pubs in London and across much of England, and we're adding the rest of the United Kingdom county by county. So if you don't see a pub we should get to it soon. Cheers, Team Publocation.

Liverpool's grandest pubs were built to impress. Brewer Robert Cain was behind both the Philharmonic Dining Rooms, finished around 1900, and the baroque Vines on Lime Street of 1907, each designed by local architect Walter Thomas and each rated three stars on CAMRA's National Inventory. The Phil's red marble gents' urinals are so admired that women may look in when the coast is clear. Humbler Ye Hole in Ye Wall, rumoured to be the city's oldest pub, has the rarity of a first-floor beer cellar.
