Hotels, Taverns, Bars and Pubs in Hampshire, United Kingdom
Publocation UK is a work in progress. So far we've listed pubs in London and across much of England, and we're adding the rest of the United Kingdom county by county. So if you don't see a pub we should get to it soon. Cheers, Team Publocation.

In Hampshire, pub history and cricket history overlap. The Bat & Ball at Hambledon faces Broadhalfpenny Down, first ground of the Hambledon Club, which by the late 1770s was the leading cricket club in England, and its captain Richard Nyren kept the inn from 1762 to 1772. Gale's brewed at Horndean from 1847 until Fuller's bought the firm and closed the brewery in 2006, though its HSB lives on. Near Petersfield, the Harrow at Steep has stayed in one family since the early 1930s and is on CAMRA's National Inventory.
