Pubs, Hotels, Taverns and Bars in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

Publocation UK is a work in progress. So far we've listed pubs in London and across much of England, and we're adding the rest of the United Kingdom county by county. So if you don't see a pub we should get to it soon. Cheers, Team Publocation.

Family brewers are woven into Greater Manchester's pub life. J.W. Lees has brewed at Middleton Junction since 1828, Joseph Holt since 1849 and Hydes since 1863, while Robinsons grew out of the Unicorn Inn in Stockport, where the first Robinsons ale was brewed in 1849. Stockport's old centre keeps several pubs on CAMRA's National Inventory, among them the Arden Arms with its curved bar and hidden snug. In Manchester, the Old Wellington and Sinclair's Oyster Bar were taken down and rebuilt near the cathedral after the 1996 bombing.
